Like the original version, the Pen of Speed, this writing devise allows the user to write at twice his normal speed. Yet it also allows the user to write magical writings (scrolls, spell books, etc.) as well as non magical writing. It is kept in a small wooden case, encrusted with various gems. It is currently owned by Tym of Tymora.
